whatsnextcinema: One of the first images I had for this project was a huge reconstituted typewriter, rigged with lenses/filters and frames in place of the letter stamps, moving in and out of a beam of light, changing it and manipulating it. I saw this image pop up on Reddit and loved that all the mechanisms could be in a systematic display and represent a typewriters complex functionality despite it being entirely dysfunctional in the image. I want to get my hands on an old typewriter ASAP so I can take it apart and reconstitute it into my filters machine. I actually had two typewriters in mind when I  first envisioned everything…
